Seven Member States required to transpose energy efficiency rules

08/11/2018 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission has decided on Thursday 8 November to send a letter of formal notice to Austria, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia and Spain on the grounds that these countries have not correctly transposed or implemented certain requirements of the Energy Efficiency Directive (Directive 2012/27/EU). This Directive aims to increase the Union's energy efficiency by 20% by 2020 and to pave the way for further energy efficiency improvements...
