Council seeks to develop common security approach to better protect Jewish communities in EU

At the JHA Council meeting on 6 and 7 December, the EU Council is expected to adopt a declaration on “the fight against anti-Semitism and the development of a common approach in relation to security, to better protect Jewish communities and institutions in Europe”. 

According to a draft text dated 29 October, which EUROPE has seen, the Council is expected to call on Member States to increase their efforts to ensure the safety of Jewish communities within their territory.
