In an initiative report submitted by Davor Škrlec (Greens/EFA, Croatia) and adopted with 588 votes in favour, 77 against and 28 abstentions during a plenary session on Wednesday, 13 June, MEPs call on the European Commission and member states to optimise the way in which Cohesion Policy is used in an effort to contribute to the expansion of the circular economy.
