Green light from Parliament committee to macro-financial aid of €1 billion under strict conditions

17/05/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 17 May, the committee on international trade of the European Parliament approved, by 28 votes to 5 with 3 abstentions, the macro-financial assistance programme of the EU in favour of Ukraine, in the order of €1 billion, proposed by the European Commission on 9 March to help it to cover some of its external financing needs for 2018-2019 (see EUROPE 11978).
