Netherlands requested to fully transpose 2010 energy efficiency directive

17/05/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 17 May, the European Commission sent a reasoned opinion to the Netherlands formally requesting that it correctly implement some of the requirements of Directive 2010/31/EC on the energy performance of buildings: those on the energy performance certificates for the residential sector and on the independent control system for the said certificates. The Netherlands has two months to comply with the reasoned opinion or risk referral the European Court...
