Annual inflation rate at 1.2% and 1.4% in Eurozone and EU respectively in April

16/05/2018 (Agence Europe) – The annual inflation rate fell by 0.1% between March and April in the Eurozone and the European Union, to stand at 1.2% and 1.4% respectively, according to an estimate published by the statistical office of the European Union (Eurostat) on Wednesday 16 May. The drop is more marked when compared to April 2017, when the annual inflation rate stood at 1.9% in the Eurozone and 2.0% in the EU.
